Made of 725 light and dark pennies, this display was created to look like the JCPenney logo. With the intention of starting a social media campaign, the idea behind the sign was to promote customer involvement with the use of a new hashtag #GotMyPenneysWorth and have customers post pictures sharing their purchase.
Not reaching its full potential, the sign hung downstairs in the offices of the North Hills JCPenneys in Raleigh, NC until the stores closure in July of 2020.
